Welcome sign request to Remus Museum

The following is a letter to Uncle Remus Museum Board to propose changing their museum sign on the side of the chiropractor office to a "welcome to Eatonton" sign to match the ghost sign restoration project.

Jimmy,

This is a follow up to our conversation after the LCA meeting this past Wednesday regarding having UGA paint a new welcome sign to Eatonton on the side of the chiropractor’s wall next to the State Farm insurance office.

That is a predominant location to greet visitors into historic downtown Eatonton. As discussed there is currently a mural encouraging visitors to continue through town to the Uncle Remus Museum.

You mentioned you would be open to having a new welcome mural sign painted on that wall. You mentioned to work through you to discuss with the board at the museum.
