Blackwell Building north wall
Dr Ken Jones provided these photographic analysis of the ghost signs on the blackwell building.
Details of several different overlapping signs are visible.
Gold Ring Flower - Quality always the same.
SELZ royal blue 350 shoe.
There is at least one more in there that is only discernible by its border. ( ___ - ___ - Pur__-Package)?
Also, important, Dr Jones does not recommend restoration. see below

Hi Keith -
Thanks for contacting me.
I just updated my webpage yesterday to address the problem. It had to do with my internet provider updating from PHP 5 to PHP 7. I have been working on the rewrite for some months, and launched it yesterday.
One quick link you can now use is drkenjones.com/webPageUSMap. php
Here is a new direct link to Eatonton - http://www.drkenjones.com/ webPageImageStrips.php? stateID=GA&city=Eatonton

I have not found another Gold Ring Flour. Sorry. You might look for printed ads in magazines and newspapers.
Personally, I don't like restorations. I actually refer to it is muralization. The analogy I give is taking an old rare coin and cleaning off the patina. It destroys the historical value while making it prettiers.
In your case, the sign is kind of wonderful with all of the layers. That is why what we like to see.
Also, the original sign allows me to go through and identify hidden layers. Here is your sign with several enhancements. Wrigley's Spearmint Gum, Selz Shoes (the large oval on the left is part of the Selz Design), Gold Ring Flour (there are two bells - one on the left, and a larger one to the right). There may also be a Wrigley's P. K. Chewing Sweet, but I am not sure.
I hope this is helpful.
Ken
